Visit a llanero ranch
One of the main attractions of Villavicencio and Meta is undoubtedly visiting a typical llanero ranch. Here you can see and learn about the work of the men and women of the countryside, mainly cattle ranching. At mealtime you can try the typical carne a la llanera (plains-style grilled beef). The city tourism office offers different options for arranging a visit.
