 Enjoy a wonderful day as Colombian Coffee Farmer! Learn how the Colombian coffee is grown, harvested and processed. You will have the unique opportunity to work through all the processes, and to experience the warm Colombian culture from the view of the famous Colombia coffee farmer perspective, life of the real Juan Valdez! You will learn the history of the Colombian coffee beans and crops. In addition you will become a true Colombian coffee expert with appreciation of the subtle and soft coffee flavor from the Andes Mountains that Colombia is best known for.  You will learn how to grow coffee, to lead mules with coffee sacks down trails, handling horses and other typical activities from the farm life. This program is available in various villages’ short distances from Medellin, and in the eje cafetero as well. The programs are available for 1 to 3 days, with the option of staying over night in one of our many country farm houses, (fincas de recreo). This tour in Colombia is currently being operated in tourist safe zones near Medellin: San Sebastian de Palmitas, Urrao Alto de San Agustín (The ancient coffee farmers highway to Medellin), Jardín.
