Using Fake Documents to Get a Valid U.S. Passport
Starting in 2007, the U.S. State Department has been issuing high-tech "e-passports," which contain computer chips carrying biometric data to prevent forgery. Unfortunately, according to a March report from the Government Accountability Office (GAO), of the United States, getting one of these supersecure passports under false pretenses isn't particularly difficult for anyone with even basic forgery skills. In an attempt to become more secure the United States has created another back door for illegal entry into the United States.

Colombia Tourism Visas are renewed at your local DAS office. In any major city be sure that you ask for the location of the DAS office for foreigners, or [b]Oficina del DAS para extranjeros[/b]. Monring is the best time, as many tourist and foreigners tend to get up late in the afternoon. The Medellin office closes for lunch for 2 hours, but Bogota has people there straight through the day. Medellin office is closed on Friday, and periodically has unannounced closures. :)
